SEOMedic Affiliate Program Terms

The SEOMedic Affiliate Program lets approved partners earn a commission on referred sales of the SEOMedic WordPress plugin. The Program is operated through Freemius, our e-commerce and affiliate management partner. Affiliate tracking, payouts, and reporting are handled inside the Freemius dashboard under the terms below.

• —Anyone can apply through the application form at https://getseomedic.com/affiliate.
• —We review every application personally. Approval is at our sole discretion.
• —We aim to respond within 48 hours but may take longer during launch periods or holidays.
• —We may decline applications without explanation, including (but not limited to) applications from competing SEO plugins, sites with thin or low-quality content, sites that violate Google Webmaster Guidelines, and applicants in regions where we cannot legally pay out.
• —We may revoke approval at any time per Section 11 (Termination).

"Net sale amount" means the price the customer paid minus refunds, chargebacks, taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax), payment processor fees, and Freemius platform fees.

• —When you sign up, Freemius issues you a unique affiliate link.
• —When a visitor clicks your link, a tracking cookie is set in their browser for 90 days.
• —If that visitor purchases SEOMedic within 90 days — even if they leave and come back, even if they later visit our site directly — the sale is attributed to you (last-click within the cookie window).
• —Cookies are per-browser, per-device. We don't have cross-device or logged-in user attribution.
• —You can use any standard affiliate link or build deep links to specific pages on getseomedic.com using Freemius's link generator.

You may promote SEOMedic through:

• —Your own blog, newsletter, podcast, or YouTube channel
• —Honest written or video reviews
• —Comparison content (e.g. "SEOMedic vs Yoast", "Best SEO plugins for WordPress")
• —Tutorial content where SEOMedic is one of the tools used
• —Social media posts that clearly disclose the affiliate relationship
• —Email to your own opted-in audience
• —Paid advertising on platforms that allow it (see Section 6 for restrictions)
• —Coupon and deal sites (if approved by us in writing)

You may not:

• —Bid on our branded keywords in paid search ads — including but not limited to "SEOMedic", "SEOMedic Pro", "SEOMedic plugin", "Get SEOMedic", "andrewmurrayhq.com", "getseomedic.com", or common misspellings (seomedi, seomedik, seo-medic, etc.). Applies to Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yahoo, Amazon Ads, and any other paid search platform.
• —Direct-link to SEOMedic from paid ads — paid traffic must go to your own intermediate page before forwarding.
• —Use cookie stuffing, pop-unders, iframe loading, or any technique that drops the affiliate cookie without the user knowingly clicking your link. Grounds for immediate termination and forfeit of all unpaid commissions.
• —Misrepresent the product — make claims we don't make about features, performance, ranking guarantees, refund terms, or pricing.
• —Misrepresent yourself as SEOMedic, an employee, or "official SEOMedic support."
• —Register domains containing "SEOMedic" or confusingly similar variations.
• —Spam — unsolicited email, comment spam, forum spam, social DMs to people who haven't opted in.
• —Use incentivised traffic — paying users to click, install, sign up, or buy through your link is prohibited unless pre-approved.
• —Self-refer — buying SEOMedic through your own link, or having family/employees do so. Self-referrals will be reversed.
• —Promote on sites containing adult content, hate speech, illegal services, malware, copyrighted material without permission, or content that violates Google Webmaster Guidelines.
• —Fail to disclose the affiliate relationship — you must comply with FTC, ASA, ACMA, and other applicable disclosure rules. A clear "I earn a commission if you buy through my link" (or local equivalent) is required.

Violation of any of the above is grounds for immediate termination and forfeit of unpaid commissions.

• —You may use the SEOMedic name and logo to promote the Program in good faith.
• —You may not use them to suggest official endorsement, partnership, or employment beyond your affiliate status.
• —You may not register social media handles, domain names, or business names that include "SEOMedic" or confusingly similar variants.
• —You may not modify our logo. Use it as-provided.
• —We can ask you to take down any specific use of our brand at our discretion.

• —Commissions are tracked in your Freemius affiliate dashboard.
• —Payouts are processed monthly via PayPal once you've reached the $100 USD payout threshold.
• —If your balance is below $100 at the end of a month, the balance rolls over.
• —You're responsible for keeping your PayPal email up to date in the Freemius dashboard.
• —You're responsible for any taxes owed in your jurisdiction. We do not withhold. We may request a W-9 (US affiliates) or equivalent before processing payouts.
• —Currency conversion (if applicable) is handled by PayPal at their published rates.
• —Commissions on refunded sales are clawed back within 30 days of the original purchase, regardless of payout timing.

• —You can view clicks, conversions, pending commissions, and payouts inside the Freemius affiliate dashboard.
• —We don't share customer PII with you — only aggregate data on which links generated which sales.
• —We may share top-level program updates (commission changes, new product launches, promotional periods) via email to active affiliates.

We may change the Program, including these Terms, the commission rate, cookie duration, payout threshold, or prohibited methods, at any time. Material changes will be announced via email to active affiliates at least 14 days before taking effect, where practical. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance.

By you: You can leave the Program at any time by emailing hey@getseomedic.com or closing your Freemius affiliate account. Commissions you've already earned (and that have cleared the 30-day refund clawback window) will be paid out at the next regular payout.

By us: We can terminate your participation at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. If we terminate for cause (Section 6 violations, fraud, etc.), we may withhold unpaid commissions. If we terminate without cause, we'll pay out cleared commissions at the next regular payout.

Surviving terms: Sections 6, 7, 8 (for commissions earned before termination), 12, and 13 survive termination.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: your participation in the Program; your promotion methods, content, or representations about SEOMedic; your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or any third-party right; tax obligations on your commission income.

THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES THAT THE PROGRAM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR PROFITABLE FOR YOU.

We do not guarantee any specific level of earnings, that tracking will be 100% accurate (some loss is inherent in cookie-based attribution due to ad blockers, private browsing, cookie clearing, cross-device behaviour, etc.), or that the Program will continue indefinitely.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE PROGRAM IS LIMITED TO THE TOTAL COMMISSIONS PAID TO YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You and SEOMedic are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, agency, or franchise. You have no authority to make commitments on our behalf.

These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of Andrew Murray's country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
